Our Client's Point of View

Following the transformation of the Waring’s Life Store in Norwich, our client Rachel Waring talks about the process of working with Prosper.

“From initial pre-instruction telephone conversation to post store opening, Prosper’s designers have been charming, efficient and have delivered on all their promises. I have really valued dealing with the same individuals at every step of the process.

We had a very flexible approach to the design of our store, but wanted a simplicity to the design with our quirky individuality expressed, while importantly linking our instore café with our homeware products. We also wanted to reflect our position as an independent store within the mass of retail chains on the High Street.

From the first presentation of ideas it was clear that Prosper’s designers had listened carefully to our brief and as a result started us on the right design path immediately. We loved virtually every idea they suggested so the process was very simple from the beginning to end.

Prosper has exceeded our expectations, which is not very easily achieved as I have VERY high levels of expectation."

When it came to the fit out, with the very detailed specifications, the quality of information required was so important and Prosper never under delivered. They offered assistance to staff in replicating the design scheme and provided training where needed, which was invaluable.

We were working to a very tight deadline to open pre-Christmas, and Prosper enabled us to do this by hitting all their deadlines.

We are very proud of our beautiful new store and have been delighted by its success, with turnover increased on our previous store, even with a much smaller footprint. We have considerably enhanced one of Norwich’s historic buildings for all to experience and enjoy. The feedback from customers has also been very positive.

Looking ahead we are now negotiating a new site in an East Anglian market town and can see how the design model created by Prosper could be applied to various property styles in the future."
