Restaurant & Bar Design Awards

We are delighted to announce our food and beverage client Nelson's Diner has been shortlisted for the prestigious Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.

Prosper's food and beverage client - Nelson's Diner - has been shortlisted for the 9th Restaurant & Bar Design Awards. With a huge global following, the Awards are recognised as the foremost competition dedicated to the design of food and beverage spaces.

Prosper developed the brand identity, environmental graphics and interior for the Newbury-based Nelson's Diner to recreate an authentic 1950's road trip. Every detail was considered from the signage, refurbished '57 Chevy, bespoke airstream to the white neon, set against the dark blue sky and its very own drive-in diner.

Entries from over 70 countries cover every imaginable hospitality space; from ships to airports, museums to burger vans, from revered Michelin-starred establishments to the fleeting dynamism of pop-ups.

Past judges from hospitality, design and lifestyle media include Tony Chambers (Editor in Chief of Wallpaper), Alberto Alessi, Marcus Wareing and Thomas Heatherwick.

The 2016/2017 shortlist includes 265 projects across 33 categories from the world's leading architects, interior designers, lighting designers and restaurant and bar operators. The winners of the Awards (including Best Overall winners) will be announced during a ceremony at London’s King’s Cross on the 5th October.
